Production Operative – Brick Manufacturing
Location: Sandy, Bedfordshire
Full Time | Monday – Friday Competitive Salary | Bonus Scheme
A well-established independent brick manufacturer based in Sandy, Bedfordshire is expanding! We're looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our busy Production Team in a varied, hands-on role.
Forklift training desirable but not essential - training and certification ( Counterbalance, Reach Truck & Pedestrian Stackers)
We are looking for a safety conscious team member to join our team in their forward thinking, supportive work environment. Full training and all PPE provided.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Setting and maintaining machinery
- Making and setting up jigs
- Cutting bricks to shape using bench saws
- Bonding and refacing bricks to create bespoke ‘specials’
- Finishing bricks to a high standard
- Performing quality control checks
- Packaging and labelling products for dispatch
- Completing daily safety checks
- Forklift operations (training and certification provided)
